Thanks. That's the information I've looked for.

Now I understand! So this is the way developers of MinGW win32api have built
up the headers and import libraries. They took just information from MSDN.

In the MSDN function prototypes are well documented.  So there should be no
problem to add the functions I need and extend the mingw library / header files.
I will work on it.
