Summary: Put 'termcap' in correct place.

Initial Comment:
The current 'termcap' package puts the new termcap file
in the active system's /etc directory. It should put
it in a sub-directory of the 'prefix' directory. This
change fixes that.

ChangeLog:

(mtew@users.sf.net)

        * Put new termcap in target instead of system
directory.

Summary: Fix problem with MSys base rt make-check

Initial Comment:
When working with the MSys base sources in the 'rt'
subtree, one of the optional make targets is 'check'.
When invoked, it
complains about no 'new-cygwin1.dll' and no
'new-libcygwin1.a' targets. A grep on all the files in
the rt tree for 'new-cyg' turned up two files where
this name (a survivor from the cygwin conversion) still
occur. In one the name only appears in a comment, but
in the other, it appears in an active roll. This patch
fixes both files.

You're missing a ChangeLog.MSYS entry.  Note that a
ChangeLog entry is not a diff of the ChangeLog.MSYS file.
It is what needs to be inserted into the ChangeLog. Use
existing ChangeLog to determine the format of the entry
itself; content will matter and until it is correct ...

Summary: mingw-get: Handle the GNU long name tar header format

Initial Comment:
This patch adds support for the GNU tar long name header format.

Paths that do not fit on the name field (more than 100 characters) generate a \
'L'-type extension header, which encodes the complete path for the following entry in \
its data area. At least the following mingw.org archive uses it:

gcc-c++-4.5.0-1-mingw32-bin.tar.lzma

In this case, mingw-get bails out with the message:
mingw-get.exe: *** ERROR *** unexpected archive entry classification:
> > type 76

Summary: gdb does not pass variables set by the "set environment" cmd

Initial Comment:
When using MINGW/gdb 7.x the "set environment" command changes the value of the \
variable correctly. It can be verified by "show environment". The problem is that \
when the program is run it still receives the environment inherited by gdb and not \
the changed one. This effectively means that the environment variables cannot be \
changed. Unfortunately Eclipse/CDT heavily relies on this, so it is failing in some \
cases. This is just a problem with version 7.x. gcc 6.x versions worked ok.

Steps to reproduce:
- compile the following code:
#include <stdio.h>                                                                    \
 #include <stdlib.h>                                                                  \
 int main()                                                                           \
 {                                                                                    \
  printf("TEST = %s\n", getenv("TEST"));                                              \
  return 0;                                                                           \
 }

$ TEST=fromSHELL gdb a
(gdb) show environment TEST
TEST = fromSHELL
(gdb) set environment TEST fromGDB
(gdb) show environment TEST
TEST = fromGDB
(gdb) r
...
TEST = fromSHELL

Strictly speaking, I should just delete this, because you've classified it
as a "known bug". Who says it is a "known bug"? How do you know that *we*
know about it? If you believe that we do, then why waste both your own
time, and ours, by reporting it again?

Okay, on this occasion, I'm going to let it pass. If *I* don't already
know about it, it *isn't* a "known bug", (and you cannot possibly know of
my prior knowledge). IOW, if you want your bug reports to be taken
seriously, *don't* ever classify them as "known bugs", because I'm likely
to assume that they are duplicates, and delete them without any further
checking.
