Karel,

In this case, I think that 'configure' and documentation should be
improved. Let's assume that It is only possible to compile mico with QT lib
only if Mico has the same multi-threading configuration than QT. Then my
suggestions are:

- Configure:

$ configure --enabled-tread --quit-qt

If qt-mt lib is found, then 'configure' should continue the execution using
the 'qt-mt' library, else 'configure' should report an error that 'QT
should be installed with multi-thread support' and exit.

$ configure --quit-qt

If qt lib is found, then 'configure' should continue the execution using
the 'qt-mt' library, else 'configure' should report an error that 'QT
should be installed with no multi-thread support' and exit.

- Documentation (in INSTALL.txt file)

The --enabled-thread option should be included in the document and the
documentation of --with-qt option should be improved:

--enable-thread
Enable support for multi-threading in MICO. In multiprocessors computers,
the performace of Mico applications could be improved.

If --with-qt option is included, check that the QT lib has support for
muti-threading. Check that the library in $QT_DIR/lib is libqt-mt.

--with-qt
[.. Current text is not removed ..]

It should be checked that the same multi-threading configuration that is
was used in QT is also used in Mico. So, you should check the QT library
placed in QT directory (generally $QT_DIR/lib). If the format of the
library is 'libqt-mt', the option --enable-thread should be included in the
configure command.

Hope this helps!!

Thanks and Best Regards,
Joaquim Duran

You have to enable threads (--enable-threads) to force MICO to look at
multi-threading Qt library. Does it make sense to check for qt-mt even you
would like to build single threaded MICO?

Cheers,

Karel
