I use now

status.deleted = cyan bold
status.unknown = blue bold
status.ignored = black bold
qseries.guarded = red bold
qseries.unapplied = yellow bold

and it works just fine.

Before I had to help myself with "hg --color false qseries"…

P.S.: BTW, I tried to use an alias like this: "qseries = --color false qseries", but \
it's not possible to include hg-specific options like "--color false" in such a way. \
Wondering whether there's another way to implement this in .hgrc. But well, no need \
anymore for this, it's just a question of general interest wrt aliases. \
