how much "soon" ? I explain my problem:

I still don't have a passport and it takes about 1 month to have it (I
live in Italy, you know how things works here :\ ) so I should request
one at least within 20th of April.
I would like to avoid requesting one now, since it costs about 60€ and
I would like to save these money if I don't have to travel to USA.
