My past attempts to get HTML::Mason working with the DSO mod_perl that 
has historically shipped with RedHat have resulting in me compiling up 
a static mod_perl.

It appears that the versions of Apache and DSO mod_perl shipped with 
RedHat 7.0 work just fine with HTML::Mason 0.87 (and the current DBI 
release, for that matter).

Whether you want to use this configuration is another matter entirely, 
of course...
