If you're still stuck, from what I've read/heard (only built on Linux
myself), it's best to build a static mod_perl 1.x on OS X, rather than
using the DSO it ships with(or does in Jag at least).

They're both Jaguar-era docs, and I understand Panther ships with Perl
5.8.x so some of the workarounds may no longer be needed...
