Mmm, I'm hoping the latter. We do lots of this:

  <& widgets/resource_form, %ARGS &>

And even this:

  <& widgets/resource_form, file_edit=>1, %ARGS &>

Is there a complelling need to deprecate '%ARGS'? I can imagine, for
example, that some piece of the implementation might get cleaner if
you can un-expose the %ARGS hash and muck about with it under the
table all you want. If not, though, I'd vote for not deprecating it,
so that some of us don't have to go merrily cutting-n-pasting through
dozens of components <laugh>.
