Hi,

Have you tried just to create a so wide fill symbol file that the inner symbols would \
repeat nicely? It seems that you should include about 9 symbols horizontally. I \
suppose it would work fine with Mapserver but you can have a try with the attached \
pattern file that is a bit similar to what you would need.

Do anyone have idea how to implement a fill pattern like below in mapserver?

Notice the small vertical offset between the elements that makes it difficult to use \
a repeated symbol to implement this.
