There's something peculiar going on here!

The three messages I have just sent on this thread, have been posted 
twice. The second of each has a very long footer, about which I know 
nothing. I am retired and sent the messages from home as always.

I have no idea what has happened or how/why these got added.

If only I am getting the duplicates, the footer is:
