No, definitely not. But there are some quirks and other little problems 
with KAudioCreator in some versions with some CD drives or mainboards. 
I usualy compile my KDE from sources and sometimes KAudioCreator is 
incredibly slow, not only the ripping part. If the reaction of the 
program is relay slow (using menus and buttons takes more time than 
usual) you have such a problematic constelation of hardware and 
software. In this case use audiocd:/ in your konqueror and drag'n'drop 
your files around.
