If I'm not mistaken, you seem to be using emulated scsi to burn your CD. If
you have an IDE cd-burner, it now works perfectly well directly with IDE. So
you can deactivate scsi emulation in your lilo.conf.
Then, I suggest using 'k3b' (urpmi k3b if you do not already have it) as a
cd-burner if you are not already using it. Because it rules for cd/dvd
burning, whether it is on IDE or USB. (unless you _do_ use scsi).
If the above does not help, you should give more information about you
setup (type of cd-burner). And if you want to stick to generic scsi, maybe
actually running 'cdrecord -scanbus' will help.
