I upgraded from 10.1 to 10.2 on an iMac rev A using 
urpmi --auto --auto-select --no-verify-rpm
with the images mounted on loopback (mount -t iso9660 -o loop ...iso)
The upgrade went fine, but Gnome has a problem:

"The default theme schemas could not be found on your system.  This
means that you probably don't have metacity installed, or that your
gconf is configured incorrectly."

I created a new user to make sure, so it's not due to a "stale" .gconf
