AFAIK ben's tree works fine on G5. But the generic ppc32 don't run on 
it. You need compile the kernel specificly for ppc970. This is why there 
is two kernels in k-mib-ppc-beta.
I will check that with last ben's tree.

Me neither. I use only benh's tree.
