(Disclaimer: it might be the case that i have no idea of what i am talking 
about.)

The first thing i would try to do to debug this is make sure your subnet 
mask is set correctly in the client machines(and the router). from here it 
looks like 255.255.0.0 should be the subnet mask if the internal computers 
have ips 192.168.x.x. if the internal computers are 192.168.1.x then the 
subnet maks can be 255.255.255.0. Either way the clients should have the 
gateway 192.168.1.6 not 192.168.100.2. I think the clients shouldn't see 
192.168.100.2 only 192.168.1.6 and the router handles sending packets it 
receives from 192.168.1.6 to 192.168.100.2.

if this is set up correctly then the problem is where you originally 
thought: the router
