It's very difficult to know whether a problem is caused by QT-immodule or a 
bug in an application like KWord or KBabel...  Anyway, I'll subscribe to the 
list.

That's my personal and honest feeling at the moment. :p  As I said before, it 
did me no good.

I know that.  The problem is that QT-immodule interfered XIM and normal inputs 
without using any IM.

I read that, so I tested KWord in two different environments.  I have no idea 
why dead keys don't work for him.  They are just working fine here.

I don't understand technical details, but if QT-immodule affects applications 
that use own widgets, I think it's QT-immodule's problem.  I don't think the 
authors of those applications are willing to rewrite their codes to make them 
compatible with QT-immodule.  Not all people need IMs...

As Thierry said  «let's hope that qtimmodule will mature in next monthes so 
that mdk10.2 can leap forward regarding CJK support ». :)
