Such polls should rather happen on user centric fora then here.
www.mandrivaclub.com seems like a more appropriate place. And I think
the results of such a poll should never be absolute. It's not because a
program is not yet known/popular, that it could not be a good candidate
for default install. But of course it can help showing some trends. 

If such a poll is done, more attention should be payed to the questions
and the possible answers: now it is not clear if the polls are about
default kde install, default gnome install, or both.
