I think it's the default CD player. I'm in favour of release critical, in fact,
I'll set it to that until someone disagrees. :)

kscd cant play any audio cd. Because it search (it is configure by defaults 
like this) with : system:/media/hdc (or hdX off course)

but the good way is :
 media:/hdc 

(or hdX..)
