description:
I'm not sure if this belongs in initscripts or drakxtools, so I'll try it here.
When I try to boot into runlevel 5 or if I issue "service dm start," a blank X
display (and mouse pointer) will appear, crash, appear, crash, etc. until I
reboot the machine or run "service dm stop." This occurs with both KDM and GDM.
If I boot to runlevel 3 and issue startx, X starts properly and works fine.
The environment is a ThinkPad T60p with an ATI Mobility V5200 graphics chip, but
I'm using the VESA driver.
My Xorg.0.log and lspci reports are attached.
