Hello, 

I have a problem with the ppp-version of the Mandriva 2005 LE PowerPack. The
speed for surfing with a 56-K-Modem on the internet is very slow (staggers
between 0 and 1.5 K). When I'm using my older version (10.1 Official) the speed
for surfing (with the same modem) staggers between 5 and 7 K. 

The speed is so slow, that I can't receive emails, before I'm ready, the
connection is closed by peer... no chance for any (security)updates.. I have
looked into the different conf-files, there are the same entries as in 10.1, so
I guess, there must be changed something in the ppp-program. 

If you need any further informations, please ask, I'll give you them soon.
