I meant "no new Mandrake kernel package release is planned".
Most 2.6.11.* updates have been used in our latest kernel package.
But I'm not a member of the kernel team, so I don't have any decision
power about that.

You can at least tell me what happens with current kernel package, and
without using the synaptics driver in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf
configuration file.
