Hmm, it does not produce any reasonable output using ljet4, so it seems as if
the printer does not 100% understand pure PCL5e indeed.

I however digged a bit further and played around with the proprietary(?) linux
driver provided by lexmark and even got the device printing in postscript ... If
you are interested, I could probably provide you with some more information. The
trick seems to be to switch the printer into postscript mode using PJL, but I am
absolutely no printing expert :-)

when installing this printer via printerdrake, it suggests a lexmark z22 driver
"GhostScript + lxm3200-tweaked (recommended)".

This printerdriver however does not produce any useful output for this PCL6
printer. I tried printing with the E320 (gs+hplj4), but that did not work
either. Printing works however using the generic gs+hpijs driver.
