No, not (any more) fixed - updating to initscripts-7.61.1-24mdk just overwrote
my rc.local.

BTW: how about two directories /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit.d/ and /etc/rc.d/rc.local.d/
and using run-part in /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit (is /usr/bin already mounted at that
time?) and /etc/rc.d/rc.local to run all scripts in those directories? Then
/etc/init.d/mandrake_consmap, /etc/init.d/mandrake_everytime and
/etc/init.d/mandrake_firstime could be moved to those directories.

description:
I noticed that lately when I do urpmi --auto-select, and when initscripst
package is upgraded, my rc.local is overwritten and my own settings are gone.

I consider it a major bug, as I start some important stuff in /etc/rc.d/rc.local
