Yes, it is, only with iso9660 filesystem type you can mount a CD-extra.

default mandrake setting is auto as fs type for all cdroms 
If you try to mount a CDextra (music cd with some data in a second session), 
it won't. 
As Windows and MacOSX can, Mandrake should can! 
 
Correct this by setting as fstype as "auto,iso9660" for all cdroms
