cdrecord read defaults options in /etc/default/cdrecord. 
 
Harddrake should add a line if it detect a burner, as it can ease the use of cdrecord. 
 
It is annoying to seek the burner before using, which means either to use dmesg | grep hd, or 
any other non obvious way to find it.
