I have a question if anyone feels like answering.

I have a script in Perl that I leave running that checks my mailbox and
deletes some kind of spam I get. I've noticed that it leaks memory like mad.
Especially when the network connection can't be established. So anyone can
crash my computer simply by unplugging the network cable :( that's not nice.
How do I go around fixing that? any ideas?

(I suspect the problem is in Mail::Pop3Client)
