description:
I tried to loead and use TTF WindowsXP fonts using the Drakfont tool in the
Mandrake Control Center. First it appeared to work correctly with all steps
tagged as "OK". However, just after this, all the fonts of Gnome 2.2 (and all
applications using GTK2+ and GDM too) changed for an unusable font (from
windowsxp I suppose). The only good change was the fonts in Gnome and Mozilla
(anti-aliased/truetype fonts used to surf).

The second part of this problem is that the first bug made crash Drakfont
everytime I was trying to use it, but also the "font" config tool of Gnome 2.2.

Here is the message that the terminal gave me for drakfont:

[benjamin@localhost benjamin]$
** ERROR **: file pangofc-fontmap.cI: line 407
(pango_fc_font_map_list_families): assertion failed: (res == FcResultMatch)
aborting...

I had to delete the folder created by drakfont (with all ttf fonts coming from
windowsxp) to have good fonts on GTK2+ again.
