Hi

sniff, if things was so easy ....

nope, each person decides that it use its laptop as it wants :(((((
Some people are network administrators and use the laptop to go to the
rack and see what things are working and what not (i.e. they want
token-ring and similar other strange things). There is SCSI PCMIC
cards for laptops, and just now everybody can have a cd-burner in its
laptop (aka you need scsi support).

there was _big_ cryes, when we told people that smp kernels didn't
have pcmcia, people bougth a new server (it is SMP), it is the router
of the compny, and they put there a PCI-PCMCIA card for putting
wireless in the office. The issue here is that you (or me by the
matter) should not told people what they can/can't do.

Things are improving ..... only that slowly.

Later, Juan.
