is that after mounting the initrd ?
the mkinitrd.xfs syas that we schould add to lilo.conf  in the append 
section
ramdisk_size=15000

you can try to boot with
LiLo:
# linux ramdisk_size=15000

if it is what i think
it's trying to find some needed modules, but the ramdisk is too small
and it can not find the modules
