Not to worry - those files were indeed deleted on purpose, yesterday.
Their contents are in other files (some newly moved, some for a while).

Poking around, it looks like "MANIFEST" is not updated by
CVS when a file is deleted... but I didn't edit it when I
deleted the *_global help files! (I'll edit and commit it now.)
