I have used MD for years, I was quite surprised to find that there had been
work put in already on an MD 2 ( thanks Jason ).  I became aware of it only
yesterday because a list I belong to has just changed over.

I have read with interest most of the more recent mail in the archives on MD
2 and would like to suggest that MD 2 would get alot more support if people
knew it existed !! I would principally be a user but am more than happy to
contribute if I can. The more people start using it, the quicker problems
are exposed ( and hopefully ) fixed and the better the software becomes.

I am quite keen to give MD 2 a try as the volume of MIME mail has risen
dramatically and MD 1 basically makes a hash of it, particularly in digests.
I haven't had much success finding a tarball for MD 2, has a snapshot been
done of the CVS recently ? If so, from where can it be obtained.
