That is "having things get forced".  You are forcing a digest.  Why do you
think that ability would go away?

Well, Mj2 only provides hourly granularity in its automatic mechanisms, but
you can easily specify a daily digest with no minimum size that is
automatically generated at 2AM every day.  No crontab needed.

If you wanted something different, you could easily set up your own crontab
to force a digest manually using one of the mechanisms we've been talking
about.
