The best sources of information on majordomo are the man pages, the files in 
the documentation directory (Doc or /usr/doc/majordom-${VERSION}), the FAQ
and README are a must, the list-owner-info is excellent, and the comments in
the perl code itself is very insightful.  Other than that, the archives for
this mailing list can be very useful too.

As for your HOSTILE address, what address are you subscribing with?
