Well I logged onto PMA and got =EF=BF=BD=EF=BF=BD5:q! to see instead of the=
 interface. So
still something off, but close :-)

phpMyAdmin is more friendly with a *frames-capable* browser.

a lot of things for you, leading me to believe that Apple&#39;s Apache is getting \
started on the command line, then a reboot is turning it back off, then MacPorts \
launchd item kicks in, and things start working.   I would also look to the error_log \
and see what else it has to say.   </blockquote>
