 I'm in the middle of updating perl5.24 and 5.26 to the latest version,
 experiencing some troubles on 10.13. If I fix them quickly, I'll just
 commit everything together. If not, I'll commit just this change (but
 anyone: feel free to fix it yourself if you want it faster).
