?? I heard "scim-m17n and scim-uim-m17n will confuse beginners,
so we removed uim-m17n".

You didn't say "scim-m17n is better than uim-m17n". (see "as well")

I think scim-m17n is better than uim-m17n, but uim doesn't support 
scim-m17n.

After you do it, you'll see looong uim.spec. :-p
I had done it in Mandriva 2005, but I merged modules again 
in Mandriva 2006.

Extra things cause extra bugs. I prefer simple specs/things.
I want to keep specs simple for other packagers.
Or no one can help to update them.

Anyway you can do it, but you need to take care of yourself. :-)
