hi, 
 
using lyx 1.3.1 i did the following from fancyhdr.dvi (page 8): 
 
\fancyhead[LE,RO]-\slshape \rightmark"  
\fancyhead[LO,RE]-\slshape \leftmark"  
\fancyfoot[C]-\thepage" 
 
but that didn't work, i got always exact the same header. so i tried the 
following (complete preamble): 
 
\usepackage{fancyhdr} 
\usepackage{footnote}  
 
\makesavenoteenv{tabular} 
\bibliographystyle{alphadin} 
\def\Euro{{\sf C\kern-.75em\raise.1em\hbox{=}}} 
 
\pagestyle{fancy} 
\fancyhf{} 
\fancyhead[LO]{left odd} 
\fancyhead[CO]{center odd} 
\fancyhead[RO]{right odd} 
\fancyhead[LE]{left even} 
\fancyhead[CE]{center even} 
\fancyhead[RE]{right even} 
 
\fancyfoot[L]{} 
\fancyfoot[C]{} 
\fancyfoot[R]{\thepage} 
 
but i only see the odd headers never the even ones. 
 
what am i doing wrong?
