yes, "lyx.exe -dbg any" is possible.
This results in a lot of debug messages.
Doing the pdflatex-Export ends with these lines:

That is interesting! The pdf file in the tmp dir is still there and it
is ALL OK! So there seems to be a bug in "moving" the file to its
destination! I will send Ruurd Reitsma a copy of this mail.
