The "cat on the keyboard" test finds bugs sometimes too. :-)


This works because developers usually focus on implementing useful 
features.  They don't always consider "what happens if the user does 
something exceedingly silly just here?". Cats and scripts doesn't follow 
any conventions, and stumble over oddities.
