Yes. One could even think of finer granularity (writer2latex has this). The
same holds for lyx2lyx. Until now, tex2lyx has been rather conservative. I
would like to keep it like that until we have such an option. It was very
valuable when I did some big conversions some months ago and I had to
verify the result. I could look at the .ps files with diff and found only
very few differences. Maybe this strict behaviour encourages somebody to
implement the option ;-)
