Guys:

You can make an RPM depend on more than just the package name.

Depending on how RedHat, Mandrake, and SuSe have build their tetex and
QT packages, you can require LyX to depend on "libqt.so.3" or
"libqt-mt.so.3".

Just do a "rpm -q --provides <pkgnames> ..." with the relevant
packages on Mandrake & SuSe to get a list of library/binary names.


Apologies if I'm stating the obvious.
