There appears to be a problem redrawing graphics insets that take some time
to load in order to display. Eg requiring an eps->png conversion. Attached
is a snapshot of current cvs showing the problem (snap1.png) together with
what should happen (snap2.png). Clicking on an inset causes all images to
be redrawn correctly as the graphics dialog is displayed.

It isn't hard to reproduce this, but you may need some patience scrolling
around. Looks to me like you need to scroll past the images so that the
conversion is triggered. When you scroll back, lyx displays the images in
the originally reserved space. If the space to display 'em is visible when
they are loaded, all is Ok.
