	Hi,

I upgraded to RH7 from RH 6.2.
Now the problem seems to be gone.
Given the many updates related it is hard to find the reason:
- XFree 4.01
- it's libraries
- gcc libraries
- kernel 2.2.16 instead of 2.2.14

My comments below deal with the rh6.2 situation.

When I minimized the window CPU use remained high. Maybe that makes the
blinking less suspect.

I switched server on and off, but no real difference.
