Hi everyone,

I know this subject has been discussed before, but since the archive-search
function is currently broken...

I have two questions with respect to running Local Apps:

1) We are currently using LDAP for User authentication - will we HAVE to
switch to NIS if we want to run any Local Apps?

and

2) Can we run just certain specific apps locally, and run everything else
from the server?
