If Yello Dog is Red Hat based, it will probally work But you'll have to
compile the source packages yourself. (Compiling source packages is a
different beast than compiling source)

I personally aliend the provided rpms to use them under a debian system.
I'm bugging my debian package maintainer buddy to see if he wants to
make actual packages of LTSP.
