It sounds like you're seeing a performance issue with LTSP 5.  It'd
be nice to understand and fix that.

Your servers boot fine with LTSP 5, but clients boot slowly?  Usually
a dramatic slowdown means you're waiting for a timeout somewhere.  Do
you have any ideas where that is?
