esddsp is NOT a player, it's a wrapper around any player. It's usage is 
something like (supossing no libraries are being preloaded)

ogg123 -d oss myfile.ogg #sounds through /dev/dsp directly
esddsp ogg123 -d oss myfile.ogg #sounds through ESD
