Also take a look at the LTSP install scripts there is nothing Server side that is actually installed.Just manually make the need changes form lstp core  in the correct config files and the server is up and running. As to the clients I think they still have to intel based. You will also need to manaully install/copy the LTSP core files to the correct dir and x-core also. It should work fine just take some work to do the first setup.
