lcov tries to create temporary symbolic .da-file links in the kernel source directory \
pointing to /proc/gcov. In your case, it seems as if such a link is already present \
(maybe from a failed run?). Try deleting all .da files in /usr/src/linux/.

I'm not entirely sure I understood what you are trying to achieve, but if you think \
it has a value for other lcov users, please consider posting it on the ltp-coverage \
mailing list (ltp-coverage@lists.sourceforge.net) so it might be considered for \
inclusion into lcov.
