Hi Peter,
I transferred the patch to our GCC maitainers, they should handle the \
notification/backport to the FSF. When/if integrated, I will post there the GCC side \
reference for the final resolution.

Thanks for the excellent analysis and fix suggestion! If you haven't
done so already, could you also post this on the gcc mailing list (see
http://gcc.gnu.org/lists.html), so that the corresponding developers are
informed of the issue?
